    5 Star Rating Just brilliant
By: Nick, on February 1, 2018
    Pros:
    Cons:

"We finally decided to replace our previous Panasonic breadmaker because the bread pan had lost so much of its non-stick that getting the bread out was too difficult and a new pan costs a silly amount. This model is a Which? best buy and we're extremely happy with it. Some other breadmakers are a bit faster, but this one produces excellent results so who cares if it's an extra 30 minutes or so.

    Cons:

"Excellent. Have made loads of bread so far but only same type of loaf. Have used whole meal and white bread recipes and the bread is delicious and moreish. Easy to use and recipes easy to follow. Much better than last bread maker I have had. Well worth the money. You know what goes in your bread and stays fresh for a few days if not already eaten!

    By: MarkD1984, on December 10, 2017
    Pros:
    Cons:

"So easy to use and makes beautiful bread. It comes with loads of recipes. Feature to offset baking start time is excellent so you can add ingredients at night and set the timer for fresh bread at whatever time you get up in the morning. Also has a keep warm setting in case you decide on an unplanned lie-in. Olive bread is my favourite so far. Bread starts to go dry after 3/4 days which shows how much rubbish must be in supermarket bread to keep it fresh.

By: Inkduct, on November 12, 2017
    Pros:
    Cons:

"I had an older model of this for around 12 years and never had any problems, I have my new model just over 12 months and have again experienced zero problems. But now I have noticed the non stick coating in the pan is just starting to peel if I can get this rectified I will give this machine top notch rating, it has easy to understand recipes which work out really well, making it simple to turn out top quality loaves or dough, and the dough has easy follow on instructions.

    Cons:

"I had an old one which was permanently 'borrowed' by a relative. Great functions. Don't forget you can add part of a crushed vitamin C tablet to aid rising, appx 100mg equivalent vitamin C.
Also use the rustic scone program to mix and bake cakes that can take a higher than normal temperature to cook. E.g. Banana cake

    Pros:
    Cons:

"We love our Panasonic bread machines. Machines? Yes, we have three! Two in Italy (I thought one was broken but it turned out to be a bad batch of yeast) and one in England. Set aside a cupboard dedicated to the machine and all the ingredients and make it easy on yourself.

"Very easy to use - my first effort is pictured (size L of M, L or XL).
This bread maker comes complete with a few accessories to help you measure out the ingredients. All you need to do to get a loaf like this one is chuck in some yeast, flour ('strong' or fancy-pants bread flour with bits in), sugar, salt, oil or butter and water. This particular program took 5 hours start to finish, and you can program in however long you want before it starts so it'll be ready just when you want it. You're advised...

    ===================================
The Panasonic breadmaker range have been the best breadmakers on the market for some years. More expensive than the others but more likely to be used again and again.
I've known people say, "Oh I bought a breadmaker from argos at the weekend, it was a bargain.... " A few weeks later I ask, "Are you still using your bargain breadmaker?" "NO!" is the certain reply.

    WHY

    By: David P, on May 25, 2011
    Pros:
    Cons:

"You might think that once you had a box on your kitchen counter which can stir ingredients around and then get hot for a while, the results would be largely dependent upon the quality of the ingredients and the ratios they are added in, and that any old machine would do. How wrong you would be (and was I)!

We owned a bread maker a few years ago (can't remember the make now) and while it was a bit of a fun novelty and it certainly made the house smell good, the results were nothing to get excited...
