Expansive, but remember you are paying for a high Quality Product. Reason for not giving, Five marks out Five, is that it's a little awkward to see water level, I have good eyesight, anyone with weak eyesight (elderly) will struggle to see the water level. Got my recommendation. |

Good looking, quite quiet, fast boil BUT you can’t see the water volume through the windows. It’s all far too dark, and is unacceptable in a £120 kettle! Very frustrating and the kettle is now put away in a cupboard and the old, noisier one back in use. But at least you can see the water level without having to open the lid or estimate the water content. |

Two weeks on, I'm still impressed. Not perhaps as quiet as the hype suggested, but it just makes a reassuring 'kettley' noise. The lid requires a good tug to open for refilling. The spout is impressively drip-free when pouring. I suspect it will be with us for a good few years. |

I realise this is probably for safety reasons but not a smooth lift. The kettle is made out of a thin tin/steel which means that the water is cold very quickly. With steel being so cheap, admittedly from China I am surprised the kettle is made out of a thin tin/steel.
